Hall has created motion picture & television sound tracks that have been honored with numerous awards.
His work has been recognized in the industry with: a BAFTA with 2 additional nominations (British Academy of Film & Televison Arts), 5 CAS Awards (Cinema Audio Society), 3 MPSE Golden Reels (Motion Picture Sound Editors), 2 Emmys (3 other nominations), and The Peabody Award for excellence in the television series; M.A.S.H..
Hall was inducted into the BHS Hall of Fame and is the recipient of the 2004 MPSE Career Achievement Award.
